Lauren McManus was born and raised in NYC where she studied exclusively with the Joffrey Ballet. While performing with the company, she danced under the direction of Robert Joffrey and Gerald Arpino. Lauren taught ballet on campus at Quinnipiac University while earning a BA in Communications. Lauren spent three seasons as a faculty member with New Haven Ballet teaching a variety of levels from elementary through pointe.

 

As a certified mat Pilates instructor, she has taught beginner and intermediate classes for teens and adults. Lauren most recently received her teacher certification from the American Ballet Theatre’s National Training Curriculum Primary-Level 3. Lauren loves sharing her passion and knowledge of classical ballet, striving to help each student to find their inner dancer.
