Everybody Dance Now

Shoreline Ballet is partnering with ‘The Movement Matters Project’ to present a six week session of dance classes for ages 6-9 for all children with Autism, ADHD, and who are differently-abled. Classes will be taught by Kathy Laskowski, a certified elementary and special education teacher who has an extensive background in children’s dance and yoga. She has earned numerous certifications in Children’s Yoga as well as Autism Movement Therapy. She is the founder of The Movement Matters Project.

The Movement Matters Project is a children’s dance and yoga initiative aimed at providing quality instruction to students of all abilities, including those who have ADHD and Autism. The goal of every class is to provide an experience that allows all participants to grow socially, to gain confidence, to increase coordination, flexibility, strength, and spatial awareness. Children will explore movement in a nuturing, creative, and fun atmosphere.

Pre-Registration is required.
